The subdiscipline of Forensic Science that deals with burned, decomposed, or skeletonized human remains. Forensic Anthropologists are traditionally involved in the location and recovery of such human remains, providing information that may lead to the identification of said remains, and the description and interpretation of traumatic injuries relative to cause and manner of death.
